Arizona Football Schedule: What do the Wildcats have to lose from the Pac-12 slate of games?
The Wildcats retain all of their Pac-12 South teams. Although they miss Cal, it’s not a major loss. Although the divisions have been eliminated, it is still a bonus to get Washington State and Oregon State to Tucson.

Arizona Football Schedule What Really Matters
Last year the Wildcats had to deal with San Diego State and North Dakota State – both very, very dangerous – along with Mississippi State.
They won the Aztecs and Bison with victories but fell to home in a close battle against the Bulldogs. They can expect a 2-1 win with Northern Arizona and UTEP, along with the Mississippi State trip.
There’s a rough stretch of three road games in four weeks, but that’s followed by a week off. The team only leaves Arizona once – for Colorado – from October 14th on.
Arizona Football Schedule What To Know: What does it all really mean?
It’s not a bad schedule for a program looking to take a big step forward.
The five Pac-12 road games are more manageable than going to Arizona State and Colorado. A win over Washington State would be possible if the Cats are able to improve.
It is possible to reach at least six wins, and even a bowl game, with the schedule. It’s going to take an upset somewhere, but Washington, UCLA, Utah, and Oregon State all have to make the trip to the desert.
If all goes well, this shouldn’t come down to the date with Arizona State to get bowl eligible.
