Apple (AAPL), expands Fitness+ with a new Kickboxing Workout

Apple Kickboxing, a total-body cardio workout, is now available on AAPL’s Fitness+ site. No equipment is required for any of the workouts.

The iPhone maker will also launch a new meditation theme, called Sleep. This will join nine other themes from the Meditation library, including Calm, Gratitude and Resilience.

Apple’s Introduction to Meditations For Sleep program will help Fitness+ users to fall asleep and get to sleep.

Artist Spotlight will launch workouts featuring music by Beyoncé, including songs from her latest album RENAISSANCE. Moreover, seven new workouts, featuring Beyoncé’s music, will be available across Cycling, Dance, HIIT, Pilates, Strength, Treadmill and Yoga.

The fifth season of Fitness+ will see more content added to the site. Time to WalkThe film will star Jamie Lee Curtis (Golden Globe nominee), Amber Ruffin (late-night talk host), Nathan Chen, Olympic figure skater, and Nina Hoss, a German actor.

Fitness+ will launch two new Collections — Six Weeks to Get Your Fitness Back on Track You can improve your core training — as well as welcome three new trainers to the team.

Apple’s holiday season iPhone shipments are expected to have suffered from disruptions at its China partner Foxconn’s factory in Zhengzhou.

Forex is expected to have a negative impact on Mac revenues. Apple anticipates that Mac revenues will drop substantially year-over year in the December-end quarter.

Apple’s Mac is expected to suffer from a lower PC demand in 2023. However, Mac’s growth rate is expected to outperform market leaders like Lenovo LNVGY, HP HPQ Dell DELL is similar to the third quarter 2022.

According to IDC data, global shipment totals were 74.3 million units in the third quarter 2022. This is down 15% because of sluggish demand, and uneven supply. Gartner data shows that PC shipments fell 19.5% to 68 million.

However, IDC and Gartner reported that Apple had a higher market share than Lenovo, HP and Dell.

According to IDC in the third quarter, HP and Lenovo both lost market share. Apple and Asus both gained market share. While Lenovo’s market share came down to 22.7% from 23.1% in the year-ago quarter, HP’s market share was 17.1% compared with the year-ago quarter’s 20.2%.

Meanwhile, Apple’s share gained from the year-ago quarter’s 8.2% to 13.5%. Apple’s PC shipments increased by 40.2% over the previous year. Lenovo, HP, and Dell saw declines of 16.1%, 27.8%, and 21.2% respectively.

Apple reported Mac sales at $11.51 billion. This is an increase of 25.4% compared to the year-ago quarter. Mac sales accounted 12.8% of fiscal fourth-quarter sales. This figure was 27.73% higher than the consensus.

Moreover, the Services portfolio has emerged as the company’s new cash cow. It has more than 900,000,000 subscribers in its Services portfolio.

However, the fiscal first-quarter revenue growth for Services is expected to be affected by unfavorable foreign exchange, difficult macroeconomic conditions, and weakness digital advertising and gaming.
