Atos to promote unified communications unit Unify to Mitel

PARIS, Jan 24 (Reuters) – French IT agency Atos, which is underneath stress from traders after its shares suffered heavy losses on the inventory market, introduced on Tuesday it will promote a communications and collaboration enterprise known as Unify to Mitel Networks.

The unit employs some 3,000 employees, Atos stated, including that the deal must be closed within the second half of 2023. (Reporting by Tassilo Hummel)
