Bills make two modifications to practice squad

To begin their Divisional round week against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Buffalo Bills made minor adjustments to their practice team.

The Bills signed two players To their practice squad: Defensive tackle Cortez Brughton and receiver Dezmon Patrick.

In the same manner, Tanner Gentry, receiver, and Joe Giles Harris were removed from the taxi unit in order to make room.

Gentry was a college friend of Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

In 2020, the Indianapolis Colts selected Patmon in sixth round. He is 6-foot-4. He has six career receptions of 69 yards and one touchdown in minimal game time.

Broughton was signed to the Bills practice squad On Dec. 6, he was released but was later let go. He is back with the team.

It’s just a minor move, but Broughton signing could be shedding light on Jordan Phillips’ shoulder injury. He did not play in the Wild-Card round vs. the Miami Dolphins, but Broughton’s addition is still very minimal and it’s early in the week.
