(Ball Chain) family of companies out of Mount Vernon, New York, announces its plan to distribute free Powecom® KN95 masks in targeted locations, beginning Saturday, Dec. 17, through Monday, Dec. 19. This effort was organized by Bona Fide Masks in response to the recent surge in COVID-19, flu, and RSV. The company’s goal to provide authentic, high-quality masks directly to the general public in support of a safe holiday season is to promote safety and health.

Bona Fide Masks® announced in November that the company would expand their charitable efforts to 1.5 million masks. The company has donated over 200 non-profit groups 1.2 million masks, supporting a wide range of causes, including domestic violence, elderly care and veterans, as well as soup kitchens and other critical groups. In addition, local community leaders have been empowered by the company to start grassroots distribution efforts in their communities. We have received a flood of requests from people in low-income communities asking for our support. These requests have been incorporated into our 1.5 million-dollar mask donation pledge. This activation will be open from 11/17 to 11/18 at 12:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and 1/19 at 9 a.m.-3:00 p.m. These locations include Radio City Music Call (11/17 and 11/18), from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 1/19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This will make it easier to identify Brand Ambassadors by having them fully dressed in Bona Fide Masks attire 

Senior management personnel will also assist in the distribution of KN95 masks on Monday, December 19. They will visit a variety homeless shelters and food pantries to distribute the masks. Bona Fide Masks acknowledges that many communities are in critical need of masks and will hand deliver them to several organizations.
