Britain says it is not sensible to ship Ukraine fighter jets

LONDON (Reuters) – Britain doesn’t consider it’s sensible to ship its fighter jets to Ukraine, a spokesperson for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak mentioned on Tuesday, after Kyiv indicated it will push for such Western planes.

“The UK’s … fighter jets are extraordinarily refined and take months to learn to fly. Provided that, we consider it’s not sensible to ship these jets into Ukraine,” the spokesperson instructed reporters.

“We are going to proceed to debate with our allies about what we expect what’s the proper strategy.”
