Cardinals connections during Chargers-Jaguars playoff Game

The Los Angeles Chargers take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Saturday’s second playoff match. Arizona Cardinals fans will recognize several names from the rosters.

However, it will only come from the Jaguars’ roster.

The Chargers don’t have any former Cardinals players on their roster.

On the other hand, the Jaguars do.

Jaguars TE Dan Arnold

Arnold spent more than one season with the Cardinals. He was a part of every game, but he played mostly on special teams. He caught nine passes for 135 yards in 2022.

Jaguars WR Christian Kirk

Kirk was drafted in the first round by the Cardinals. He played for them for four seasons. The Jaguars signed him a large contract last offseason. He had a great season. He finished the season with 84 receptions and 1,108 yards. They were all career-highs.

Jaguars DL Corey Peters

He was an in-season signee for the Jags after seven seasons with Cardinals. He played in 12 games, had 20 tackles, half a sack and appeared in 12 more.

S Deionte Thompson

Thompson was with the Cardinals more than three years after being drafted. He was released earlier this season and now is on the Jags’ practice squad.
