Cardinals interview Frank Reich to fill vacant head-coaching role

With a new general manger in charge, the Arizona Cardinals have started the process of interviewing for a new head coach to replace Kliff Kingsbury.

One interview was held Tuesday. according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

Monti Ossenfort’s first interview was conducted with Frank Reich, the former Indianapolis Colts head coaching.

Reich is no stranger in the organization. In 2012, he was the receivers coach for Ken Whisenhunt.

He has been the quarterbacks coach for Chargers since 2013, the offensive coordinator for Eagles and Chargers (2014-2015), and the head coach of the Colts (1982-2022). He was fired in the middle of the season.

As the Colts’ leader, he was 40-33-1 and led them twice to the postseason. He also went 1-2 in playoffs.
