Aaron Glenn, Colts’ head coach interview complete

The Indianapolis Colts announced Saturday that they had completed their interview with Aaron Glenn, Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator, for the position of head coach.

Glenn was the sixth candidate to interview for the Colts’ head coach vacancy and was the second to do so Saturday. You can follow along with the latest updates With our tracker.

Glenn, 50, was a player in the NFL for 15 years and had a stellar career as a rookie with the New York Jets in 1994.

After two seasons as an assistant coach for defensive backs with the Cleveland Browns (2014-2015), he joined the New Orleans Saints to become defensive backs coaches, a position he held for five years (2016-2020).

Glenn spent the last two seasons as the Lions’ defensive coach under Dan Campbell. He was one of the stars of “Hard Knocks” during the show’s 2022 series, proving to be an intense coach who isn’t afraid to push his players.

Chris Ballard will lead the search for head coaches. the decision ultimately resides Jim Irsay is the owner.
