Dayton suffers third straight loss

Jan. 22—The Dayton Flyers girls’s basketball group suffered its third straight loss, falling 79-60 to Atlantic 10 Convention preseason favourite Massachusetts on Sunday at UD Enviornment.

Dayton (3-15, 2-5) gave up a 7-0 run to begin the sport. UMass led 18-13 after the primary quarter and put the sport away by outscoring Dayton 21-9 within the second quarter.

UMass (15-4, 5-1), which beat UD within the A-10 championship recreation final season to win the match for the primary time, has gained 4 video games in a row. It started the day a recreation behind Rhode Island (15-3, 6-0).

Mariah Perez led Dayton with 15 factors on 5-of-8 capturing. Future Bohanon added 14 factors, and Sydney Freeman scored 13.
