DeMarvion Overshown ranks among PFF’s top NFL Draft LB prospects
After his most successful season as a Longhorn, DeMarvion Onshown is now preparing for the NFL Draft.
Overshown was a key player in the transformation of Texas’ defense in 2022. Overshown was a key player in the Texas defense’s turnaround in 2022. He had 96 tackles and 10 tackles for losses. Overshown was also a strong leader as a two-year captain.
Overshown’s performance has improved each year since he was moved to linebacker from safety in preparation for the 2020 season. Overshown is ready for the professional level with a better understanding of the position he gained from Jeff Chaote’s tutelage.
NFL scouts are no doubt impressed with Overshown’s excellent frame and athletism at the linebacker position. Pro Football Focus ranks Overshown No. 5 linebacker prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft class.
