Detroit police and firefighters sue Vince McMahon about WWE’s comeback

The Detroit Police and Fire Retirement System has sued WWE’s Vince McMahon in an attempt to prevent his recent return as company leader.

Detroit’s cops and smoke-eaters are investors in WWE and are hoping to stop McMahon from retaking control of the company’s board of directors, sports business outlet Sportico reported Tuesday.

McMahon, now 77, was ousted in July 2022 An internal investigation revealed that he was guilty of the following: made hush money payments to four women To cover up sexual misconduct allegations.

Sportico reported that Scott Fellows, a WWE shareholder, had filed a nearly identical suit two days prior. Detroit police filed the suit to obtain class-action status.
