Erin Napier believes that videos of mom humor are not up to the mark
Erin Napier This message is for moms
The Home Town star — who shares daughters Helen, 5, and Mae, 1, with husband Ben — took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to share her thoughts on parental complaints.
“[Instagram] She was always showing me videos with’mom humor,’ in which moms are laughing and complaining about having little children. “Would love less of this. Although I am aware of the stresses and difficulties that motherhood can bring, there are many women who struggle with infertility around the globe.
She asked parents to “flip the ear” and remind their children how precious and fleeting this chaotic time is.
Napier speaks about being sensitive regarding fertility issues before. She will be retiring in March 2020. posted a picture of her daughter Helen Instagram: Write a caption explaining why you aren’t having kids yet. is not the kindest question.
Napier stated that it was an easy, innocuous and harmless thing to say to a mom who is missing the joy of her baby as her child grows up. “And it seems so simple to offer that same advice to the couple who’ve been married 10 years. It is not always that easy. Women I love have a burning desire to have children, but their bodies aren’t allowing it. Women who are grieving secret miscarriages. Couples who are trying to adopt but find it difficult to do so because the baby is returned to drug-addicted moms. People are anxious to take their child abroad, even though they fear it won’t happen due to travel bans. Mothers in their 30s who suddenly can’t have another baby. Please, I urge you. Before you give that advice, think about those people. Sometimes, answering a simple question like “What is your favorite color?” can prove difficult.
Napier, in December 2022, was subject to unwanted speculation after she refused to drink coffee during an episode Home Town.
“Re: last night’s episode, I am not expecting, I just don’t drink coffee,” the mother wrote on her Instagram Story. “I will not expect. Y’all don’t need to Google believe we are dropping cryptic messages. There are no clues. Our family is complete. It is strange and unprofessional to continuously speculate on if a woman has become pregnant.
