Falcons launch three coaches from defensive employees

Shortly after hiring Ryan Nielsen as defensive coordinator, the Atlanta Falcons parted with three of their defensive coaches.

Line of defense coach Gary Emanuel, outdoors linebackers coach Ten Monachino and secondary coach Jon Hoke had been every launched by the workforce on Friday.

Nielsen, 43, involves Atlanta after spending six years as an assistant coach in New Orleans. He served as defensive position coach for the workforce since 2017 and was promoted to co-defensive coordinator in 2021.
