Giants choose Tennessee WR Jalin Hyatt in newest Draft Wire mock

With the twenty fifth general decide within the 2023 NFL draft, Draft Wire has the New York Giants choosing large receiver Jalin Hyatt.

The Tenessee stud had his breakout season in 2022, totaling 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns on 67 receptions. Hyatt was unguardable at instances as he scored a number of instances in 5 video games and had 5 video games with 100-plus yards. One of the best instance of his excessive potential is when he recorded 207 yards and 5 touchdowns towards No. 3 ranked Alabama.

Hyatt is precisely what Large Blue wants as they did not generate a lot manufacturing from the large receiver place. New York’s large receivers solely put up 1,960 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2022.

To make issues worse, the Giants’ large receivers had some critical consistency issues as they dropped a ball from Daniel Jones on each 15.8 makes an attempt and all of them did not high 800 yards on the season.

A scarcity of a No. 1 receiver has been a difficulty ever since Jones has been the franchise’s quarterback as New York has not had a receiver go for over 800 yards in that span. Hyatt has the power to be that man as he operated in that position within the SEC and did not go underneath 55 yards as soon as in convention play.

If New York desires to construct round Jones, they should exit and get a receiver like Hyatt within the first spherical.
