Google laid off 12,000 employees

Google parent Alphabet will be laying off around 12,000 workers, which is around 6 percent of the global workforce. wrote In an email that was sent to employees at all levels of the company. Sundar Pichai, CEO, wrote that he was sorry to employees who will be fired and that it was difficult to make the right decision for the future.
