House of the Dragon announces the first new cast members for season 2.

The Dance of the Dragons has a new cast of players.

HBO confirms four new actors to the cast House of the Dragon In season 2, new actors include: Simon Russell Beale (as well as Freddie Fox), Gaye Rankin (as a narrator), and Abubakar Salim.

Beale is cast as Ser Simon Strong. He is the Castellan de Harrenhal, and the great-uncle of Lord Larys Strong. (Matthew Needham).

Fox is Ser Gwayne Hightower. He is the son of Otto Hightower played by Rhys Ifans, brother to Queen Alicent, Olivia Cooke, and uncle to Prince Aemond, King Aegon and Queen Helaena.

Rankin will pay Alys of Hull and Salim Alys of Harrenhal, respectively. Rivers, a resident of Harrenhal and healer, is described. Alyn was a sailor with the Velaryon Fleet who participated in the Stepstones Campaign.
