Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller caused quite a stir On Thursday, he shouted at Collin Delia, the goaltender, before hitting his stick on the backboard of the Winnipeg Jets’ net.

Vancouver trailing 3-2 in the third quarter, Miller displayed frustration that his teammate hadn’t gone to the bench immediately for the extra attacker. However, the Canucks still had the puck in their own zone. This sequence quickly became viral, prompting questions from hockey fans about Miller’s leadership and attitude.

Miller said that Friday’s incident was not a topic for reporters or fans.

Miller stated, “The only reason there is noise is that you guys are asking questions about it.” This is not something I care about. I care about my teammates and coaches as well as the guys in the locker. “I didn’t even realize this existed until today.”
