Scoot Henderson, an Ignite guard, is close to a triple double with his latest effort

Scoot Henderson Filled the stat sheet, flirted with a three-double on Friday to help lead NBA G League Ignite over the Santa Cruz Warriors.

In the 136-115 win over The Dollar Loan Center, Henderson scored 21 points and had a team record nine assists, seven boards, one steal, and seven rebounds. In 32 minutes, he shot 8 of 18 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line.

The 18-year-old scored in several ways during the contest, from getting into the paint and finishing at or near the rim to pulling up from halfway. After driving the length of floor and jamming in it, he also hit another highlight-reel dunk.

The contest was Henderson’s fifth back in the lineup after missing 11 games due to a concussion and nasal fracture. Since returning, Henderson has been averaging 19.8pts, 7.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds.

The guard, who stands 6 feet 2 inches tall, is projected to be the No. He is projected to be the No. 2 draft pick this year, behind Victor Wembanyama (French center). He has been an electric player on the court this season, and is highly regarded for his ability to score from any part of the court. This was evident on Friday.

Henderson has averaged 20.5 points and 6.4 assists in 11 games. He also has 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 40% 3-point shooting. He is 27th in G League scoring and had 16 assists against Santa Cruz on Nov. 12.
