Lee Mead shares post-op video after hair transplant

Lee Mead has removed his signature curls in order to have a hair transplant.

The 41-year old singer shared videos with us Instagram He was unrecognizable with a bald hair, and he joked: “Hair today gone tomorrow!”

He spoke in one clip and said that he had been concealing his receding hairline, and that he feels “more confident” now that he has had the procedure in Istanbul.

One video showed Mead sitting in a chair at the hairdresser, looking nervously at the camera. He had his head covered with black pen to mark the location for the transplant.

Another video captured him at the airport, preparing to fly home.

He stated, “I’ve got an entirely different look than when I left London airport.”

“It’s a totally different look and I’m nervous about returning to the UK.

The star has a daughter together with his ex Denise Van Outen He said that he was a little “sore”, but added, “I am so happy I had it done.”

He said, “I had a nice head of hair but I hid the receding areas quite well.”

“I could have left it for the next two to three years, and as I have always stated, it is an individual, it is a personal thing, not it.”
