Linda Robson, Loose Woman star, admitted to asking strangers for alcohol
Loose Women Star Linda Robson When she was going through her worst alcohol problems, she confessed to asking strangers to buy vodka for her.
The actor, who is 64 years old, has been sober for 3 years. She had previously struggled with alcohol and ended in rehab three times.

She told Woman’s Own magazine — reported via the Mirror — that her determination to keep her drinking a secret led to her approaching people at random.
“I would find money to say “excuse me, I lost my key and can’t get out. Would you be able go and get me some vodka from the corner?”Robson stated.
This was actually a part of her decision to stop drinking.
She said, “A few people did.” [get her alcohol] However, one day I asked a man to do it. He turned out to have come from an area of alcohol crisis that my family had called.

Robson stated that her drinking problems began when she was diagnosed with depression in 2018. She was then prescribed medication that made Robson feel worse.
She confessed that her drinking struggles were so bad at their worst that she “completely ruined my family’s lives” with her actions.
Robson’s mental illness led to Robson being absent from Loose Women between 2018, 2020 and before she was diagnosed. made an emotional return to the show.
“I was drinking anything just to black out because I just didn’t want to be to facing the day… I didn’t want to face getting through the day,” she said.

Robson said, “I have never drunk any spirit in my entire life.” I would’ve drunk anything, because I was feeling: ‘I can’t get through the day’.”
Later, the Birds of a Feather star reflected on that Loose Women return interview, describing it as “one of the scariest things I’ve ever had to do”.
