Tuesday marks one yr since a Stockton fireplace captain was killed within the line of obligation. A tribute for captain Max Fortuna performed out on dispatcher audio Tuesday morning. The 47-year-old was allegedly shot by suspect Robert Somerville whereas responding to a dumpster fireplace close to Aurora and Washington streets. Somerville’s household says he mistook Fortuna for an intruder. The trial started earlier in January.
