Multiple wounded in Midtown Atlanta shooting

ATLANTA (AP) — Police said Wednesday afternoon that they were investigating an “active shooter situation” in a building in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood and that multiple people had been injured.

Atlanta Police Department tweeted that an active shooter had been located inside a building between 12th Street and 13th Street on West Peachtree Street. There was no suspect in custody.

The police urged everyone in the area to lock up their buildings and shelters.
