NHL announces 2023 All-Star Game Selections

The National Hockey League on Thursday announced the first 32 skaters — eight per division — selected to the 2023 All-Star Game.

These selections were chosen by the league’s department of hockey operations and are the first of a two-step player selection process, with fan voting completing the final stage. Online voting will continue until Jan. 17th, while separate Twitter voting will take effect from Jan. 12-14.

One player was selected from each of the 32 NHL franchises to be part of the initial roster. Each division featured seven skaters as well as one netminder.

Atlantic Division

The final rosters and captains for each division will be revealed on January 19.

The 2023 All-Star Game celebrations will be held in Sunrise Florida. It begins with the skills contest on February 3 and ends with the annual 3-on-3 tourney on February 4.
