Nowatch, a smartwatch for health and fitness that doesn’t need a watch part, is the best alternative to the traditional watch.

The best thing for your health is to be healthy. However, many of these devices deliver an overwhelming amount of notifications, in addition to measuring steps and heart beat and other metrics. Nowatch The company takes a different approach and offers many of the same features that you would expect from a health monitor. The company has replaced the watch face with several interesting-looking materials. This is a departure from the “tiny phone display” approach that Apple, Google, and Samsung seem to have adopted. It also subverts the analog watch look of companies like Withings.

The company loves to be called a ‘company with a heart’Make sure you are aware“,” is its motto to combat anxiety, stress, overstimulation and anxiety. The company was inspired by Hylke Muntinga, the CEO and co-founder of the company. He also had a history of bad luck and was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition.

“Five years ago I lost six dear friends in a single year. You realize that death and life are very close in those moments. Two and a half year ago, I realized that I was going blind because of an eye condition. a rare disease called PXE. It was a wake up call to not get distracted. Muntinga said that he has to live right now in an interview with TechCrunch during CES in Las Vegas.

Nowatch was born from this experience. The Nowatch does not have a screen and instead uses cool, jewel-style, ethically-sourced gemstone face designs. The inside of the not-watch features advanced health tracking technology that quietly monitors the wearer’s progress as they go about their day. It includes Philips EDA (Electrodermal Activity) Biosensing TechnologyThe biosensing technology measures changes in sweat gland activity via skin conducting. The biosensing device sends a gentle, non-harmful current through the skin. This measures the difference in electrical conductance between two points of the skin over time.

“We decided not to include the option to view the time in our wearable. That adds to the distractions. Nowatch is designed for everyone who is open to science and technology and prefers to be able to wear something beautiful and durable. Watches are jewelry that show ‘hey, I’m this’. Muntinga said that aesthetics are what draws people to us.

The wearable can detect stress levels and send vibrations to the user to aid in reducing stress. Nowatch learns the wearer’s biorhythms and aims to measure and remind. It also measures the wearer’s biorhythms to calculate ‘cognitive zone’, which is how clear you can think, feel, and your’stress fingerprint.

“We can predict stress up to an hour ahead of time. Muntinga explains that we are working to determine how extreme stress is related to your habits and to help people make changes or correct them over time.

An iOS or Android app allows you to interact with the watch’s readings and can offer advice and insights that will help you live a balanced life. The sensors include Red and green PPG (photoplethysmography), EDA, an accelerometer, temperature sensors and a barometer.

The Nowatch battery can be used up to four times per day, and its MSRP starts at 500. The Nowatch battery will be available starting next week. You can also buy additional gemstones, such as White Agate and Tigers Eye, Rose Quartz or Labradorite, Labradorite, Falcon Eye or Amethysts. Prices can range from $25 to hundreds of dollars depending on which stone you choose. Our team has some interesting collaborations.

“We’re currently working with some jewelry and artist makers. They are working on limited editions for the Nowatch. This includes using meteorites and moonstone. Muntinga said that many people wanted something different. “We’re excited about the possibility of collaborating with artists.”
