Oregon Ducks sneak into D1Baseball’s Preseason Top 25 Rankings

Although college football ended just a few weeks ago and March Madness is still a distant possibility, the folks at D1Baseball.com are already looking ahead to college baseball season. They have released their preseason top 25 rankings Tuesday

Fresh off a record of 36-25 in 2022, the Oregon Ducks are one of three Pac-12 teams in top 25, and they rank right below the gun at No. 25 overall.

Oregon returns six position player starters and eight pitchers from last year’s team, which qualified for the postseason for a second year in a row, playing in the Louisville Regional. Oregon also has a No. 5 at Baseball America ahead to the 2023 season.

Stanford ranks No. After back-to-back appearances at the College World Series in 2012 and 2013, Stanford is No. 3, while UCLA is No. 17 overall.

Oregon opens its baseball season against Xavier in a home series, before moving to Santa Barbara to face off with the Gauchos.
