‘other offers are out there’

Brian Flores was interviewed for the Cleveland Browns for their vacant defensive coordinator After firing Joe Woods, I posted the following week. Jim Schwartz Dennard Wilson Interviews were also conducted for this post. However, SI’s Albert Breer has reported that Flores, “has a real good shot,” at landing the gig in Cleveland.

According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Flores will not commit to anything right away as “other offers are out there for him.” He already has a head coaching request as well, as the Arizona Cardinals are interested in him as their head coach after firing Kliff Kingsbury as well.

It will be fascinating to see how the Browns interview potential defensive coordinator candidates.
