The 2023 OURHOME Kick-Off Ceremony was held at its Magok headquarters, Korea. The event was attended by employees from Korea and other employees who work in overseas branches, such as the US. EuropeAnd Vietnam via online live meetings.  Ji-eun Koo was vice president and CEO at OURHOME. He presented the “2023 Management plan and mid/long-term strategic plans” to all employees and executives. The presentation focused on the future vision of the company, including key tasks and management goals in 2023.

Koo expressed gratitude to her employees and encouraged them “For the first-time since its foundation, sales from overseas corporations exceeded 10% of total sales in 2022.” Through active management strategies like close communication with clients and establishment of a K–Food corner, our customer satisfaction was beyond expectations.  She said, “In 2022 our meal care division at home and abroad generated several new customers and the HMR division was successful in targeting the B2C marketplace with market-leading, top-quality food. We laid the foundations for the future by achieving the platinum rating in research and development for Care Food and Medifood and the first industry-wide manufacturing infrastructure.

Koo said that “We must combine our strength and the global mega trend.” Today, companies must provide multidimensional services and products through convergent capabilities and thinking.

Koo stressed that “NEW OURHOME” is a priority. He suggested that the country should accelerate global market penetration, introduce PI (Process Innovation), and strengthen digital capabilities. As global leaders, increasing overseas business is not an option. Let’s look beyond Korea to establish global companies like Sodexo and Compass as competitors starting this year.

OURHOME, a multinational food company, began catering and food ingredient supply in Korea in 1984.
