Palestinian killed by Israeli forces in West Financial institution, Palestinians say

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – A Palestinian man was killed by Israeli forces on Saturday within the occupied West Financial institution, Palestinian officers mentioned, after, in keeping with the Israeli navy, he tried to stab Jewish residents.

A person tried to stab a resident of the Jewish Sde Efraim farm and was prevented, an announcement from the Israeli navy mentioned.

Violence within the West Financial institution has surged over the previous 12 months, following stepped-up raids by Israel in response to a spate of Palestinian road assaults in its cities. At the very least 18 Palestinians, together with militants and civilians, have been killed by Israeli forces within the West Financial institution since Jan. 1.
