Panthers request an interview with Ejiro Nevero

The Panthers are now on the short list for Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro evero.

NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reports the Panthers have been relegated to the bottom of the league. have requested Interview with Evero. Evero has previously interviewed with the Broncos, Colts, and is expected to interview this week with the Texans.

Joseph Person, of TheAthletic.com, reports that Evero was requested afterward a scheduled interview DeMeco Ryans, 49ers’ defensive coordinator was removed due to logistics.

The Panthers interviewed Shane Steichen (Eagles offensive coordinator), former Colts head coaches Frank Reich and Jim Caldwell (Lions and Colts). The full-time job has been offered to Steve Wilks, the interim head coach.
