Riley Keough and husband reveal start of daughter throughout mom Lisa Marie Presley’s memorial

On the memorial for Lisa Marie Presley, her daughter, Zola star Riley Keough revealed she had given start to a daughter.

Keough’s husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, made the announcement whereas studying a press release from his spouse, as she sat within the entrance row of the memorial, held Sunday morning at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn.

“I hope I can love my daughter the way in which you really liked me, the way in which you really liked my brother and my sisters,” Smith-Petersen learn. “Thanks for giving me power, my coronary heart, my empathy, my braveness, my humorousness, my manners, my mood, my wildness, my tenacity. I am a product of your coronary heart, my sisters are a product of your coronary heart, my brother is a product of your coronary heart.”

The couple did not provide any extra particulars. Keough, the daughter of Presley and musician Danny Keough, met Smith-Petersen, an Australian stuntman, whereas filming Mad Max: Fury Street in 2012.

Presley, the one baby of rock legend Elvis Presley, was rushed to the hospital Jan. 12 with cardiac arrest and died later that evening. She was 54. The surprising tragedy got here simply days after Presley attended the Golden Globes ceremony along with her mom, Priscilla Presley, in help of Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, which gained star Austin Butler an award for Best Actor in a Drama that night.

“My coronary heart is totally shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper, and Priscilla on the tragic and surprising lack of Lisa Marie,” Butler said in a statement to EW. “I’m eternally grateful for the time I used to be fortunate sufficient to be close to her shiny mild and can without end cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her heat, her love, and her authenticity will all the time be remembered.”
