Robin Roberts says she plans to marry Amber Laign, her long-term partner, in 2023

Robin Roberts Is planning to get married in 2023

When we were talking about intentions for the new Year, the following was said: Good Morning America Gabby Bernstein, motivational speaker and author, was the host. she wants to wed her longtime partner, Amber Laign.

“I’m hesitating because I haven’t said it out loud yet … I’m saying ‘yes’ to marriage,” Roberts said. “We are getting married this year.”

She continued, “It was something we had talked about but we had put it off, she became ill but … it is saying yes to that, and that next chapter.”

Roberts, who is a member of Laign since 2005, shared her first story about her partner, which was battling breast cancer, early last year.

“My sweet Amber wanted that I tell you something about her experience. Amber was diagnosed at the end last year with breast cancer.” The anchor posted a Twitter video. “She had surgery last month, and will start chemotherapy this morning. The prognosis for her is positive, thankfully.

The couple was thrilled to announce that Laign had finished her radiation treatments by July.

Robins captioned this clip with “Sweet Amber.” “Completing radiation was a very important stage of her treatment! Both of us are grateful for your prayers and well wishes.

She said, “Proud to be Thrivers and all other Thrivers for you grit and grace in a difficult time.” This is me! #mondaymotivation 🙏🏾.”

She was a veteran broadcaster who felt the pain of her partner’s disease, as she had been diagnosed with breast carcinoma in 2007.

Roberts will be celebrating April opened up On The Ellen DeGeneres Show Information about Laign’s treatment for breast cancer.

Roberts said, “I haven’t talked about it a lot, but with you I will,” Roberts stated to host Ellen DeGeneresHer voice wavered as she spoke. “She’s doing very well, which I find amazing.

Roberts also suffered from myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare blood- and bone-marrow condition that requires a bone marrow transplant 2012 But her own health difficulties Roberts was not prepared for Laign to undergo treatment.

She shared that she had gone through it twice and barely shed a single tear. “I am a puddle when I think about Amber’s suffering. She is so brave and is handling it very well.
