Scholastic Education Solutions Product, Research and Publishing Teams Will Co-operate with a Collect of K-8 Educators From All Over the U.S.

NEW YORK, Jan. 9, 2023 Scholastic, the global publisher of children’s books, education and media, today announced its inaugural Teacher Fellow cohort. The Scholastic Education Solutions product development, research, and publishing teams will work with this group of twelve high-performing K-8 teachers throughout the school year. This collaboration will provide a direct route to their expertise and the real-world experiences from their classrooms. This program has two goals: to encourage innovative co-design and action for Scholastic’s instructional offerings, and to offer unique professional development opportunities to these educators.

“The Teacher Fellows program builds on the strong relationships Scholastic has enjoyed with teachers for over a century. This reflects our deep commitment towards developing resources for teachers’ immediate needs. “We are delighted to welcome these 12 educators into the Scholastic Family to share their diverse experiences, critical perspectives, and to celebrate their contributions,” said Scholastic CEO John Sullivan. Teachers Fellows were chosen through an open call for applicants. They were evaluated by a panel made up of teachers who had experience in teaching and problem solving skills. Each fellow will start and finish a capstone work during the program. It will be presented at Scholastic Headquarters’ NYC Summit in 2023. Fellows will also get a stipend. $2,000 As well as at least $500 Scholastic books and other materials have a retail value.
