SIGLENT Technologies Announces the 8-Channel Low Profile Oscilloscope SDS6000L

Enabling System Level Debug with upto 512 channels with SyN64

CLEVELAND, Jan. 12, 2023 /PRNewswire/ – The SDS6000L series is a combination of unparalleled performance, value, and bandwidths of 500 MHz to 1GHz and 2GHz respectively. They are available in either 4 or 8-channel models and have a sampling rate up to 10GSa/s. High sample rates and deep capture are possible with storage of up to 500 Mpts/ch. This allows users to quickly zoom in on areas of interest and capture illusive signals at higher sampling rates. SIGLENT’s SPO (Super Oscilloscope), an innovative SIGLENT technology, is featured in the SDS6000L series. It has a waveform capture speed of up to 750,000 WFM/s (Sequence mode), which allows for easy capture of low probability abnormal events.

The SDS6000L series is compact in size due to its space-saving design. Its body is just 43mm thick and occupies 1U. Contrary to traditional oscilloscopes which take 7U, this slim design offers ultimate space-savings and provides a better solution to embedded system measurement and automated testing workflows.

The SDS6000L series can support 8 analog channels. This greatly expands the range of addressable applications and uses. Digital designers must be able to see more than four channels in order to correlate causal effects. Designers must be able to correlate clocks, bus contention, clocks and data. They also need to be able address buses, frequency domains, power distribution networks, data, clocks, data, addresses, clocks, and data. These functions will eliminate many limitations that are common on today’s workbenches.

The SDS6000L series is perfect for embedded designers as it provides 8-channels.

If additional channels are required, the SYNC64 Module expands the channel count up to 512 analog channels. This allows the correlation of multiple synchronous event, which is ideal for system-level analysis.

Simultaneous serial bus debugging, FFT analysis and DPN, ADDRESS/DATA, Buses contention, are all possible now. The SDS6000L can also be connected to a network via a built in web server. This makes it ideal for documentation.

The SDS6000L series is capable of performing jitter analysis and eye diagram analysis. It also supports power analysis and mask testing with statistical analysis capabilities. It is a true powerhouse in digital signal measurement, with automatic measurement of jitter parameters and template testing of the eye diagram. Engineers can now use third-party TDR probing software to support high density single-ended or differential TDR measurements.

Engineers and companies who are involved in system-level testing and debugging will find new opportunities with this unique combination.

The SDS6000L series is perfect for high-channel count applications. It provides an innovative, powerful measurement platform that is truly unique in its class.
