The Apprentice candidate apologizes after selling Nazi memorabilia
The Apprentice Gregory Ebbs, candidate for the election, has apologized after it became apparent that he had sold Nazi memorabilia online.
Ebbs manages the online marketplace Ebbs Raven Yard Antiques which sells historical artifacts, including Nazi regalia.

Speak to the Daily MailEbbs claimed that the incriminated item was sold to him by a “third-party vendor”.
He stated that he didn’t condone, nor wish to encourage, this abhorrent and shameful period of history. I apologize for any offense caused.
He also explained the nature of his online marketplace: “My online business is an antiques marketplace where independent sellers have a platform to sell a wide range of antiques, memorabilia & militaria from many different periods of history.”

Ebbs stated that he would also look to improve the website: “The site is relatively new, and I will be looking at stricter vetting procedures to third-party vendors.”
According to The Sun, Ebbs’ website sold a German military dagger emblazoned with a swastika for £725.
Although Nazi memorabilia can be illegally sold in many countries, including Germany and the United Kingdom, it is legal to trade them in the UK. However, the British government has been lobbying to put a ban in place.
Bargain Hunt Tim Weeks, an expert on Nazi-related items, has been previously criticized for selling them through his auction house.
He later apologized for the incident. saying“Upon discovering that a number Third Reich items were up for sale, I contacted the head our militaria department to request their immediate withdrawal. We would never want to cause any offense.”
