The Cardinals are interested in interviewing Lions DC Aaron Glenn to fill their head coaching vacancy

Now we know who the Lions offensive coordinator is Ben Johnson is not leaving the team for another job in 2023, but the team’s other coordinator is still a candidate for job openings on other teams. Aaron Glenn, Detroit’s defensive coordinator, continues drawing interest as a head coach candidate. Glenn has a new suitor.

Multiple reports indicate that the Arizona Cardinals have asked permission to interview Glenn for their head-coaching vacancy. After a disappointing finish in the NFC West, the Cardinals fired coach Kliff Kingbury.

Glenn already has a preliminary interview with the Indianapolis Colts. Glenn was interviewed last offseason for both head coaching and assistant positions with the Broncos, Jets, and Jets.

Glenn is still a highly sought-after candidate, despite not being a strong defensive player in Detroit. He’s known for his leadership and tough-love approach with his players, as well as his aggressive nature as a defensive playcaller.
