Tickets for the potential AFC championship game in Atlanta go on sale Wednesday

The NFL has announced the procedures for selling tickets for a possible AFC Championship Game in Atlanta Tuesday morning.

If both the Chiefs (and the Bills) win their divisional rounds games this weekend, the game will take place at Mercedez-Benz Stadium. The NFL adopted a change in rules for the postseason after the cancelation of the Bills’ game with the Bengals after Bills safety Damar Hamlin During a Week 17 match, he suffered cardiac arrest.

The league decided to play a neutral game because the Bills and Chiefs didn’t play the same amount of games. Roger Goodell, NFL Commissioner, selected Atlanta to host the game.

Season ticket holders for Bills and Chiefs who have chosen to buy tickets for the game, will have the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets in Atlanta beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, January 18. They will be contacted by the teams with more information on how to participate.

Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can sign up to take part in Friday morning sales clicking here. If there is a game in Atlanta, any remaining tickets will go on the market Monday, January 23, at 9:59 PM.

Tickets purchased through presales for the AFC Championship Game will be fully refunded if it is not held in Atlanta.
