Tottenham fan kicked Arsenal GK Aaron Ramsdale, after Spurs’ defeat in the north London derby

At the end of the match, a fan attempted to kick Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. the Gunners’ 2-0 win Tottenham wins the North London derby Sunday.

Following a spat with Spurs forward Richarlison in the middle of the match, Ramsdale was forced to walk to the stands. A Tottenham fan had then walked onto the railing to try to kick Richarlison.

Ramsdale addressed the situation after the game and said that most fans were friendly with him during Arsenal’s win over Tottenham. Ramsdale ended the game with six saves.

“The Spurs fans gave me some in the second period. Ramsdale stated after the match that he gave them some. “I was greeted with good sportsmanship by the few people I did it too.” A fan then jumped up and gave me a quick punch on the back.

“It’s a shame because it’s just a game of football at the end of the day. Both sets of players tried to bring me away, thankfully nothing actually happened too drastically but it’s a sour taste – I’m sure we’ll enjoy it when we go back in the dressing room.”

Arsenal extended its first-place lead in the Premier League table thanks to an own goal from Tottenham keeper Huge Lloris in the 14th minute and a solid strike from Martin Ødegaard in the 36th minute. Tottenham was unable to match Arsenal’s goal total, even though they had more shots than Arsenal. Fulham is now in fifth place with a slim two point lead.
