Trojans land All-America running back Quinten Joyner and head to Texas to start their ground game

After falling short of the Pac-12 title, the USC Trojans are rapidly improving their roster and adding talent.

Official signings were made by Makai, five-star quarterback Malachi Nelson, elite receiver Zachariah branch, and Makai Lemon as the arly signing period opened on Wednesday.

Let’s not forget the running back room.

In 2022, Travis Dye was an absolute blessing for USC. Raleek brown should be ready for 2023, having learned a lot about football during the season. However, the Trojans require more depth at running back. Quinten Joyner would be a great addition.

The Trojans’ Texas-based prospect is a great addition to their running back position. Raleek brown is more of a speed merchant that a running back. He will need to share reps with other running backs in USC’s stable. Enter Joyner, who can be a change of pace and a guy who will balance out the Trojans’ workload in the backfield.
