Tunisian president appoints a army official as agriculture minister

TUNIS, Jan 30 (Reuters) – Tunisian President Kais Saied on Monday appointed a army official as agriculture minister, in a partial cupboard reshuffle that included the ministries of agriculture and schooling.

As a part of the adjustments, Saied named Mohamed Ali Boughdiri schooling minister, the presidency mentioned.

Abdel Monem Belati, the overall inspector of the Armed Forces, was appointed minister of agriculture, reinforcing the presence of army officers in Saied authorities.

Final August, Saied appointed Mostafa Ferjani, the previous director basic of army well being, an adviser within the presidency.

Ali Mrabet, who’s a health care provider and army official, is the well being minister within the Saied authorities.
