What to See This Week

It’s not always easy to find out which movies are hitting theaters each week, especially after the Hollywood strikes led to many release date changes. With the WGA and actors strikes resolved and summer blockbusters starting to roll in, March is filled with both big budget flicks and new indie releases.

Sydney Sweeney stars in the religious horror movie “Immaculate” about a woman of devout faith who discovers horrifying secrets hidden in an illustrious Italian convent, which has a wide release this week. Also hitting theaters this week is “Late Night with the Devil,” a found footage horror about a 1977 television broadcast gone horribly wrong staring David Dastmalchian, Ingrid Torelli and Laura Gordon, and “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” staring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard. “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2,” the follow up to the 2023 viral sensation starring Scott Chambers, Tallulah Evans and Ryan Olivia also has a limited release this week. Next week, look out for “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” with Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Dan Stevens.
