Finally reaching the Immemorial City, Elora Danan (Ellie Bamber) and Kit (Ruby Cruz) were faced with a choice — fight the Crone (Jane Carr) or give in to the Wyrm’s promises to fulfill all their desires.

The rest of the enclave including Willow eventually joined them.Warwick DavisElora and Willow joined forces to defeat the Crone, losing GraydonTony RevoloriIn the heat of battle, they brought Airk (Dempsey Bryk) to the Wyrm. They were able to save Airk (Dempsey Brryk), and he was able to be revived from his horrible transformation. Graydon was able to wake up on the same battlefield as Willow’s nightmares. However, he was greeted by Elora, a short-haired woman who invited him to join her army to rule the world.

Howard said that Howard was a big fan of the movie and knew the movie’s core values. He could understand the tone and build upon it, I knew.”

Howard had always hoped that there would be more Willow, He said that conversations with George LucasLucasfilm produced the film. It was made by, who also produced it. ENTERTAINMENTWEEKLY: It’s hard to end the show with someone you don’t know, but how did Graydon decide Graydon over Airk, Boorman and anyone else whose lives were in imminent danger?

JONATHAN KASDAN It was a topic that we had some discussion about. We all agreed that Graydon was a tragic character and that he is our Dark Prince. He was always the Dark Prince when we created the show. We always wanted to know if he was good or evil, and that question we hoped to continue to answer throughout the season. As the season progressed, it became clear that he is quite definitively good. His love for Elora was so genuine, and his portrayal of those scenes was tender and sweet. Elora would be most compelled to this stage of her life if he died. It’s not always easy to make these difficult decisions. For her, it was like that.

Is there any chance that Airk and Elora could reunite now that he is back to himself? Or is Graydon her true love? At this point?

She isn’t with them both at the moment. She wants to take a break from the dating scene completely, and we’ll watch how she does. Airk, on the other hand, isn’t over her. Airk is actually more attracted to her now that she is empress of all the world, the most powerful sorcerer in history and has seized so much power. Elora is definitely not in the rose garden, but I do believe so.

How bad would it have been for everyone if Elora hadn’t changed her mind at the wedding ceremony?

It would have been a disaster. It would have been terrible. The movie sets up this concept to help tell the story. Her spirit needed to be extinguished, transported or moved in a way that would make killing her impossible. This is a convenient storytelling device. They have to bring her back to the castle. She will be fine for a while longer. We find it really helpful that she’s not just concerned about whether she lives or dies. She has a spirit about her. This is in keeping with George Lucas’ philosophical and quasi-religious material about the Force. This speech is great. Empire Strikes back that I was just thinking about last night — that I’m sure my father wrote — which is that we’re more than just this crude matter. We’re celestial beings. Elora has something that is pure sunlight, and it would have been really terrible if he was able to suck that light from her mouth.

Boorman explains why, but Kit is finally able to wear the armor.

Kit’s journey is about accepting responsibility. This is an idea that I find very personal. I struggle with the same question: “How much responsibility am I willing to accept?” What about my family? Who do I have to take responsibility for? All season, she’s run away from this responsibility. Elora is her inspiration and she becomes her devoted friend. She is also the only one who can protect her spiritually as well as emotionally. Metaphorically Elora is the natural spirit of this world and Kit is our human role in it. She can go from being very selfish and generous to being very kind. That’s what makes her worthy of the armor.

Although we see Willow and Elora win the battle against the Crone, I believe that their fight is not over if they have their druthers.

Absolutely. It was always intended to be a trilogy. These things must have a finite ending. As a fan of these stories I don’t think creators are trying to keep it going for as long as possible to make a living. In this age of streaming, there is a demand for stories that continue, but not endless. It’s great. This was really designed to show Elora as she gains her power. After that, she would need to deal with darker forces.

They do finish this with the charred remains Willow’s staff und Elora’s broken wand. They will be able to overcome it. They will need to fix those things?

The staff question was a great question. It’s something that you really got at. Willow sacrificed the conduit in order to save Airk. He had to give up something that was important. It was fun to be able to go into stories that might not have him expressing his magic, and have that challenge to him.

Willow says that Elora Danan will die if she fulfills a prophecy. This is early on the show. But should we be still worried?

Absolutely. The Wyrm’s agent is the Crone. She is the Wyrm’s agent for talent. She goes out and makes deals. She’s the producer. But she’s not the talent. The Wyrm, however, is the thing. That dark force which presses against light is still there.

Graydon appears to be awakening on the battlefield we saw in Willow’s nightmares when we reach the final moments of this season. Is that true?

It’s so accurate, that we were like “Okay, Warrick, get out of here, throw Tony back.” It was a race against the clock. Tony reached the position 10 seconds after Warwick had left it.

The final fight is real reminded me visually of the Harry Potter wand duels. Was that a visual reference point for you?

Huge. The final scene promises a lot. Elora is an example of a character that can bring out the best in people, just like Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker. We tried to make the meaning of this a bit more complicated over the course the season so that we didn’t have hard and fast definitions of good and bad. Particularly Star Wars There is a clear good guys-bad guys distinction. This has been reinforced in our series about wants versus ideals and how they conflict within us. Elora certainly has that conflict. It is tempting to believe that the Wyrm is a powerful temptation. Ellie conveys it almost in an ecstatic manner as she battles with the Crone. It’s hard and terrifying, but it’s clearly helping her get off to a good start (laughs). While we wanted to continue that scene and be clear with her about the possibility of something very bad, it was not possible. She is also capable of doing something very destructive.

What should we do with the final version Elora Graydon has interpreted as Graydon’s potential alternative path?

Yes. As the bad guy’s clear declaration of intent.

You’ve said that you want to have Val Kilmer In a second season.

Nothing would be more satisfying. The world can be unpredictable. But, the runway has been laid for him and we would love it.

But you had Christian Slater as a guest star. Are there any 1980s stars you would like to see on the show as well?

Billy Zane is a big fan of mine. I would love to be able to use him in some way. WillowIf you could, I’d be delighted. He’s brilliant, under-appreciated, and under-loved. It’s not just me who feels like this. He has done some amazing things lately. I believe he could be a valuable asset to our team one day.

Hulu and Disney+ can be purchased as a package deal. Reservation Dogs, There are now two Elora Daans in the Disney family. Do you see any crossover potential?

(Laughs.) But we invited them all. Although they couldn’t make it, we still hope to have a cup of coffee between our Elora Danans. They should sit down together and do a photoshoot or something. It is just perfect. It’s amazing. Devery Jacobs would be a great guest star. It would be a great idea.

Do you have any information about a possible season 2?

Only that I’m still sitting in my office, planning and strategizing. It’s an interesting time in the company. It’s a transformational time for Disney. So, I can’t say anything but that it’s certain that we will continue to work on this project with every intention of doing even more.

Are you able to imagine where it will go from here?

The story must end in a meaningful manner. It should address the consequences of trauma that occurred to the characters, and how it affects their lives. I would love to see these characters emerge from that desert. They are all also looking at the clear conflicts that were firmly positioned in season 1 and 2. Jade specifically, is focusing on the question of her loyalties and where her politics are going to land her We think of her as a character who is unsure about where she can go. We could go in many directions, but the core of this story is the conflict between our heroes and this otherworldly entity. It’s not over.
