Take a look at final week’s protection: WWE SmackDown Results (1/20/23)

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown would be the remaining episode earlier than Saturday’s Royal Rumble, and see a litany of huge matches. The SmackDown Tag Staff Championship Contenders Event continues on Friday, with Imperium going up towards Legado del Fantasma within the semifinals of the match. Elsewhere within the event, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus will go head-to-head towards Hit Row within the different semifinal match.

After trapping Rey Mysterio within the Kross Jacket two weeks in the past, Rey Mysterio will search for payback in a singles match. Lastly, forward of Kevin Owens’ title match towards Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble, Owens will step into the ring towards Solo Sikoa, with The Bloodline member trying to ship a message to Owens previous to his match tomorrow.
