WWE SmackDown Viewership Rises on 12/30. Also, Demo Ratings Up

WWE SmackDown Viewership rose significantly from December 30 to January 1.

According to Brandon Thurston of WrestlenomicsOn Friday, the show attracted 2.629 Million viewers, which is significantly more than the 2.69 million viewers who watched it on Friday. previous week (2.376 million)

SmackDown’s rating in the 18-49 age group was 0.64, up from last week (0.55).

This week’s episode John Cena returned to the ring and competed in his first match since 2021. He and Kevin Owens teamed together to face Roman Reigns, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Sami Zayn. Plus, Ronda Rousey defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Although she won, she was confronted again by Charlotte Flair, who stunned her in an impromptu fight to win title.
