50 Cent confirms that 8 Mile TV series will be made with Eminem

50 Cent With collaborators, has confirmed plans for the reboot of cult movie 8 Mile Eminem.

The original 2002 movie, a semi-autobiographical tale on Eminem’s life, has developed a cult audience in the 20 years since its release.

50 Cent, realname Curtis Jackson has announced plans for a longer version.

The popular rapper and producer behind the music. Power Franchise has confirmed that Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers III, is also involved in this project.

Speaking on BigBoy TV, Jackson explained: “I wanna bring, I’m gonna bring, 8 Mile to television. It’s gonna be big. I’m working. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting 100. I think it should be there. [Eminem’s] legacy because it’s important to me that they understand it.

“I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don’t see… it’s important to me that they understand it, you know what I mean?”

Eminem was seen in the original film alongside Brittany Murphy and Mekhi Phifer. Anthony Mackie played B-Rabbit, a wannabe rapper trying to make ends meets in Detroit, Michigan.

He is a mechanic by day, but he lives with his mother and younger sister in a trailer camp.
