Carla’s LSD nightmare causes crash
Stephen takes revenge upon Carla Coronation Street next week – but will his actions result in her death? Max discovers Max’s fate in court. Billy confesses to Paul that he still feels for him, and Brian proves to have been an unpopular flatmate.

Will Stephen be able to seal the deal with Rufus’s?
Carla has a proposition for Stephen: resurrect the deal with Rufus and he’ll receive 15 per cent in commission and a permanent contract. But at Rufus’s hotel, it’s soon made clear that he isn’t interested, despite Stephen’s pleas that he reconsider.

Rufus then gives Stephen a vial LSD and heads for the bathroom, where he takes a few sips of cocaine. Rufus will remain clutching his chest, while paramedics tend to him. Stephen, meanwhile, assures Carla that the deal is in the bag and starts practising Rufus’s signature for the unsigned contract.
Rufus is then wheeled off to an ambulance, but later on there’s a knock at the hotel door and a sex worker called Candace barges in demanding money – all of which gives Stephen an idea…
Carla is on Stephen’s hit list
After the drama described above, Carla made Sarah Head of Design and Stephen became office manager. But wanting his revenge, Stephen ends up lacing Carla’s coffee with the LSD from Rufus’s briefcase.
Carla is now disoriented and spiralling paranoia. Peter is worried that Carla’s psychosis may be back. Matters then escalate dramatically when Carla gets behind the wheel of the Underworld van, determined to make it in time for a meeting for which she’s late. But as she careers down the street, she crashes into Paul, who’s astride a motorbike that’s recently been bought by Peter. Will there be casualties
Max is sentenced
Barrister Kim reveals that Alya has failed to submit a personal victim statement, a development that could aid Max’s case.
Max is sentenced to six months in prison by the judge at the court. But when David hugs the troubled teen and assures him he’ll visit as often as he can, Max asserts that he doesn’t want any visits. Max is soon made aware by a group o’ lads at the secure training facility that they are determined to make Max’s entire life miserable.
Billy still feels for Paul
Paul is offered a night on the town with Dee Dee. But when Summer reveals that she’s received a conditional offer from Manchester University, Billy suggests to Paul that they meet for a celebratory drink.
Paul’s solution is to get Dee-Dee to come along to the Rovers, where she witters on to him about her love life. When Billy arrives, he switches the topic to talk about how disgusted he is with Todd’s violence towards Mike. Paul can only mask his guilt…
Later in the week, things take a surprising turn when Billy approaches Paul to confess that he still feels for him. But Paul insists it’s better if they remain friends.
Zeedan puts his family first over Marrium
Zeedan is left begging Marrium not to go to the police after she turns up at the house to tell him she can’t believe he and Alya watched her dad die in front of them.
When Alya then tracks Marrium down to the café, she explains she’s as much to blame for her dad’s death as Zee. Alya realizes that her brother is willing to sacrifice their relationship for her good.
Alya will be seen next telling Zeedan that she doesn’t need his protection and is going to return to work at the restaurant. But Zee says to his sister that he’s sticking around whether she likes it or not as family must come first.
Brian is unwelcome guests
Ed reveals to Brian that his flat needs rewiring, so Mary tells him he’s welcome to sleep on the sofa. The trouble is, Brian and Mary then have a huge argument and he ends up having to stay in a room at the builder’s yard flat.
As he tries to make himself at home, Brian attempts to bond with Amy’s uni mates and offers to do his Vernon Kay impression. But it’s enough to drive Amy up the wall – hence her then trying to convince Mary of how sorry Brian is following their falling out.
Mary and Brian are now friends again. The bad news (for Amy) is that Brian then invites Mary round for tea – Amy’s plan to get rid of him having truly backfired.
