Colts request interview with Bengals’ Brian Callahan

Cincinnati Bengals Brian Callahan, offensive coordinator, will have a chance to be the Indianapolis Colts’ head coach.

According to Tom Pelissero NFL Media granted permission for Callahan to be interviewed by the Colts on Thursday.

Callahan has been a key part of Joe Burrow’s development and overall offensive performance in Cincinnati for his fourth year as a Bengals player. He’s been mentioned on rising head-coaching lists before and had teams previously show interest, including the Broncos.

Frank Reich was fired by the Colts in November. They have interviewed Jeff Saturday as interim coach and conducted interviews with six others, including Eric Bieniemy, Chiefs offensive coordinator.
