Deloitte US Selects Jason Girzadas as CEO; Lara Abrash is the Chair of The Board

NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — This marks the end of the leadership succession process Deloitte US conducts every four years. Jason Girzadas As chief executive officer, he has been appointed. Lara Abrash he has been elected as the chairman of the board. June 4, 2023Subject to a ratification vote by partners. Lara and Jason will succeed Joe Ucuzoglu (Deloitte US CEO) and will be the Chair Janet Foutty.

Jason Girzadas

Girzadas currently serves as the managing principal of Businesses, Global and Strategic Services (BGS), where he is responsible for driving integration across Deloitte’s four businesses spanning Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Tax, and Risk & Financial Advisory. He has played a key role in enhancing the quality and positioning of Deloitte’s services. He is a member the US Executive Committee and an advisory partner to several large clients. He has also been active in several strategic alliance relationships.

Girzadas served as the Deloitte Global Consulting Leader. He is also a member of the Deloitte Global board. He is a well-respected expert in helping clients navigate the challenges of large-scale technological-driven strategic and technological change. He was also the Deloitte Consulting LLP leader for life sciences and the health care industry.

Lara Abrash

Abrash currently serves as chair and CEO of Deloitte & Touche LLP and has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of its US Audit & Assurance practice, including the execution of its quality, innovation, growth, and talent strategies. Abrash’s career has seen her hold significant client responsibility. She was the global lead client services partner on large multinational clients, including financial services and technology. Abrash is also a member the US Executive Committee, and an advisory partner for many large clients.

She holds a BA in economics from the University of Albany, SUNY and an MBA from Baruch College.
