Notable Book Excerpt

America is now a country where racism is not widespread but sporadic. Racism has been universally condemned as one the worst traits a person can possess. It is a powerful cudgel that activists often use. They have succeeded in creating a Catch-22. To argue against systemic racist is to be considered racist. This is how the lie that racism is causing racial inequality can fester. In this environment, few are strong enough to oppose it.

I have battle scars. I was born in the spring 2022. testified In front of the House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee, I argued that entrepreneurship can help minorities overcome economic disparities based on race. This viewpoint was quite different from the views of the other witnesses, who said that the government must increase income redistribution among minorities in order to overcome the racism that holds back minorities.

The Democratic members didn’t like my testimony, which was based on years’ of research and experience as the leader of one the largest small business groups in the country, to be blunt. Stacey PlaskettDelegate from the US Virgin Islands to the House, Cathy said that she was “troubled” by the rhetoric she was hearing, and claimed it was inappropriate to argue that minorities can overcome their circumstances via entrepreneurship.

Similar to what I said a few weeks ago. Dina Rubio?, Florida Restauranteur and member of Job Creators Network, she testified before Congress about the negative economic consequences of regulations and spending by the government on her business. Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), stated that he was “disappointed”. Rubio raised this real-world issue, noting that it would be preferable to keep to “structural” equity barriers for entrepreneurs.
