Gabriel Jesus returns to Arsenal after suffering an injury during World Cup

LONDON (AP) — Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus has been included in a matchday squad for Arsenal for the first time since sustaining an injury during the World Cup.

Jesus was selected to be a substitute in Arsenal’s Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday.

If he does come on, it will mark his first appearance since Dec. 6th when he was undergoing medial collateral ligament surgery.

Arsenal hasn’t suffered much in his absence. They are still the Premier League’s top team and look to win five points over Manchester City by beating Fulham.

Jesus joined City during the offseason to earn 45 million pounds ($54 millions).
